Trust us when we say...this one is worth the wait! The guys were joined this week by the one and only J.J. Levenske. J.J. is the President at Bleuwave and a respected leader in the construction arena with an emphasis on operational proficiency and customer care. He has a strong aptitude on linking human capital, safety, operations, finance, sustainable building, and ever changing technical requirements. His value to an organization is to operationalize it in a way that reduces inefficiency and increases revenue. His goal is to be far in front of any current situation by foreseeing potential risk and working on the process so it is easier for his team in the future. DD has a new man-crush. Chief Geek secretly wishes he was a "little person". If you're keeping up with Suga's "locks of the week" you know now to do the opposite! Music provided by YAZ!!!

The guys were joined this week by a diverse panel of land survey professionals to discuss the various education & training opportunities for land surveyors. This esteemed group consisted of Peta Cox (National Training & Development Manager at Consulting Surveyors National, AUS), Michael Magyar (Owner, Magyar Land Surveying LLC in Oregon), Ray Lillibridge (PLS at OHM Advisors; Adjunct Professor at LTU; Adjunct Faculty at Eastern Michigan University, MI) and Brandon Montero (Program Director, Lead Trainer at Elevate Construction; Educator at Arizona State University; Author, Development Coach, AZ). I'm not sure if we solved all the "survey world's" problems, but we sure did touch on a number of issues affecting the profession of land surveying...past, present and future. Music by Buckcherry!!

Simon is also the Founder & CEO of Purposeful Intent. Work is more than bricks and mortar and to have a valuable place in the future, the physical offices needs to be used with "purposeful intent". We love our Aussie peers! The guys and Peta Cox (our interpreter) were joined this week by Bruce Baker & Peter Rullo, a couple influential blokes from the land Down Under. Bruce & Peter are best friends that have and continue to build a geospatial empire. Peter founded Land Surveys in 1997 and has committed his career to building a leading Australian survey business. Bruce is the CEO of ISGroup, a specialist group of companies that includes Land Surveys and IntelliSpatial. Their collective mission is to leverage their geospatial experience and expertise to provide intelligent solutions. Some of the topics discussed include leading a cutting edge company into the future, staying ahead of the trends, importance of branding, "no problems, only solutions" and imaginary friends!
