Episode 140 - Raymond Woering & Hanno Kant From Aplgos B.V.

The guys were joined this week by two legends in their own right. Raymond Woering & Hanno Kant dropped in all the way from the Netherlands to tell us everything we wanted to know and more about Apglos & the Survey Wizard. Coincidentally we also had a Bad Elf along for the ride so you can only imagine the hijinx that ensued! These guys are the Laurel & Hardy of the GPS world. Episode 139 - Patricia Solis

"Be a Great Ancestor"...this is just one nugget of priceless information provided this week by Patricia Solis (pronounced So-Leece). Patricia, among other things, is another global geospatial influencer that we were humbled to have spent some time with. She is currently a Research Professor at thee Arizona State University...Forks Up!...the Executive Director of the Knowledge Exchange for Resilience, and Director and Co-Founder of YouthMappers!!!. One of her many passions is working with young people and generating knowledge and science for, and with the public. "Everything Happens Somewhere"...let that one sink in! Episode 138 - David Pounders, PE

Now for something completely different! Mark Taylor & Kent Groh went rogue and interviewed thee David Pounders for this entirely unscripted episode. To say they had fun would be an understatement!! David is an incredibly interesting human being...who knew engineers had this much personality! As a veteran (did you know there is only one branch of service?), entrepreneur, family man, leader, inventor, prophet, music critic, bigfoot hunter and cubed-earther...David shared a ton of knowledge and wisdom. We...are...back! Ok...Geoholics...this is an episode that is near and dear to many of our hearts and we appreciate you taking the time to listen. Elise Micheals joined us this week to talk about mental health...specifically a males perspective as it pertains to their struggles with mental illness and the challenges that go along with it. We were also joined by our good friends Peta Cox and Ryan Swingley who showed tremendous courage by sharing their individual stories. Ron was very transparent sharing the challenges of recalling life memories and emotions and expressing them on paper, the mentors that have and continue to influence his life, his perspective on the past, present and future of land surveying, and the importance of hard work, perseverance, and humility!! Episode 133 - Michael Galen, Esq.

This is one of those shows that we had high expectations for and it found a way to exceed them! The guys were joined this week by Michael Galen, Attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP. Michael focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and liquidations, distressed debt transactions, bankruptcy reorganizations, restructurings, creditors' rights, workouts, and other financial transactions. Some of the items discussed include structuring a business correctly, the importance of operating agreements, avoiding risks, things that lead to bankruptcy, when is bankruptcy the right decision, and how to maneuver through this extremely complex process. Episode 132 - Listen Up Folks!

More value was added, more friends were made and another milestone was reached! The guys were joined this week by a slew of "younger" surveyors with a wide range of experience levels including one that has been surveying for less than a week! Tyler Lapointe, Austin Maxwell, Nik Schlosser, Anissa Williston and Tate Childers were all participants on this week's show making it the most guests we've ever had on a single episode! This creates a number of technical challenges and lessons learned (which is a really good thing!), but we promise that there is a ton to glean from this conversation if you'll power through it!
